Dear All,
Colleagues may be saddened to learn of the passing of Michael Furmston, scholar of contract law, who has passed away. I did not know him though remember being cited his works as an undergraduate but thought the news should be shared A full obituary does not appear to be out, but Oxford's internal newsletter just came out noting that he read Law at Exeter College Oxford and was a Fellow of Lincoln from 1964-1978. He moved to Bristol, where he was Dean of the Faculty of Law and Pro Vice Chancellor, and then became founding Dean of the law school at Singapore Management University, before moving to Sunway University in Malaysia, who have published this brief note:

Matt
